Sean Scanlon
Sean is the CEO of the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle and has been the Diocesan Financial Administrator since 2010.
Sean has over 25 years of financial, management and legal experience including 10 years’ experience in investment banking across Australia, Tokyo, London and Moscow. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Fellow of the College of Law, Lawyer on the Record – Member of the Law Society of NSW, Admitted to Supreme Court of NSW and a Graduate of the Australia Institute of Company Directors.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Diploma of Law, Graduate Certificate of Legal Practice, Master of Laws (Applied Law), Master of Property, Bachelor of Construction Management (in progress).
Lisa Tierney
Lisa is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, overseeing the operations of the Diocese with a focus on Shared Services. Commencing her career as an accountant for investment bank, Salomon Smith Barney, Lisa went on to gain extensive leadership experience in the non-for-profit sector. Previous roles include, Finance Regional Manager for Ambulance NSW, Business Manager of Lifeline Hunter and COO of Compass Housing, the third largest community housing provider in Australia managing 7,000 social, affordable and disability houses.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) Accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Australian Institute of Company Directors, Company Directors Course, Master of Business Administration (M.B.A).
Jessica Bentley
Jessica is our General Operations Manager. She has over a decade of experience in community housing, working in a variety of roles from real estate property officer through to management and team leader roles.
Casey Prince
Casey is our Tenancy Services Officer with varied experience in Community and Social Housing. Casey is responsible for the day-to-day management of the tenants occupying the properties that Hunter Community Housing manages, including rent, property management, leasing, and customer service.
